Green Hydrogen and Social Sciences: Issues, Problems, and Future Challenges

The article presents a review of the research on green hydrogen from social sciences, identifying its main lines research, problems, and relevant challenges due to benefits impacts that this energy vector has transitions climate change. analyzes corpus 78 articles indexed in Web Science (WoS) SCOPUS, published between 1997 2022. identified three areas related for sciences future: (a) risks, socio-environmental impacts, public perception; (b) policies regulation (c) acceptance willingness use associated technologies. Our results show Europe Asia lead sciences. Also, most works focus area policy acceptance. Instead, field perception risk is much less developed. We found little focused assessments environmental local communities indigenous groups, as well participation authorities rural locations. Likewise, there are few integrated studies (technical social) would allow better assessment cleaner transitions.
